What is AppScreen?
AppScreen helps you design the screenshot gallery on an iOS App Store page. Rather than mocking up each image on its own, you work on a single horizontal layout that holds the whole gallery. When you export, that layout is cut into correctly sized slides, so artwork and captions can run past the edge of one image and continue on the next. You get device frames, text tools and ready-made presets to start from. The editor opens straight in the browser with no account, and projects are stored locally rather than on a server. Supported targets are iPhone and iPad. Everything needed for a basic set is free. If you want more, the Pro upgrade is paid one time at $9 rather than monthly, and it unlocks unlimited projects, local file saving, iPad mockups, pattern output and an MCP integration that lets coding agents operate the editor. There is no automatic image generation involved; the layout is yours to build. AppScreen is an independent project by Stewan Silva.
