Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the public ListYourApp.online website, listing submission form, Featured request flow and messages sent to our published contact address. It does not govern third-party products linked from directory pages. Those providers operate independently and maintain their own privacy practices.

Information provided with a listing

A submission can include a product name, website URL, short and detailed descriptions, primary and secondary categories, pricing model, tags, a logo, a product screenshot and a contact email address. If a submitter selects a Featured listing, the form may also collect a transaction identifier and payment-proof image. Product information intended for publication may become visible on an approved listing page. The contact email is used for moderation and support and is not displayed as a public listing field.

Information collected automatically

Like most web services, hosting and application infrastructure may process basic technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. This can include an IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, timestamps, referring page and diagnostic or security events. Server logs may be retained for a limited operational period. We do not ask public visitors to create an account merely to browse the directory.

Cookies and local storage

The public interface may store a light or dark theme preference in browser local storage so the selected appearance can persist. Administrator authentication uses a secure HTTP-only session cookie that is not available to ordinary page scripts. The cookie supports protected administration functions and is not a public signup or advertising profile. Browser controls can clear local storage and cookies, although removing an active administrator session cookie signs that administrator out.

Legal and operational grounds

A submitter voluntarily provides the information required for review. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to process or publish the listing.

Public information and search engines

Once approved, listing content such as the product name, descriptions, categories, tags, pricing, logo, screenshot and website link is intended to be public. Public pages may be indexed, cached or archived by search engines and other independent services. Removing a page from ListYourApp.online does not guarantee immediate removal of copies controlled by third parties.

Storage and image processing

Application records and uploaded images are stored with the directory's database infrastructure. Images may be validated, resized and compressed before storage to improve security and performance. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including restricted administrator access and protected sessions. No internet-connected system can promise absolute security, and submitters should avoid uploading confidential or unnecessary personal information.

Service providers and disclosure

Infrastructure providers may process limited information on our behalf when they provide hosting, database, security or delivery services. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal process, investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or support a business reorganization. We do not sell submission contact email addresses.

Payment information

Featured requests use cryptocurrency transaction information supplied by the requester. A public blockchain transaction can be visible independently of this website. We use the transaction hash, network, amount and uploaded proof to review the request. We do not request wallet private keys, recovery phrases or exchange passwords. Never place those secrets in a form, screenshot or support email.

Retention

Information may be retained for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate an approved listing, handle moderation history, prevent repeated abuse, resolve disputes, verify payment placement or meet legal obligations. Rejected and removed submissions may be retained for a limited period when necessary for duplicate detection, security or record keeping. Retention periods vary by purpose and the nature of the record.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete information associated with your submission, subject to appropriate verification and applicable exceptions. You may also request removal of a public listing you own. Send the listing URL, product name and the original submission email to the address on our Contact page. We may preserve information that is required for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

Children's privacy

The directory is intended for a general business and software-discovery audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

International access and policy changes

The website may be accessible from many locations. Information can be processed where our infrastructure providers operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable requirements. We may update this policy when features, practices or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after a change means the current policy applies to later activity.
